A large double-page engraving, published in Harper's Weekly dated June 19, 1875 entitled as follows:
"An Ice Nip in Melville Bay, Off The Devil's Thumb". The associated text is printed on the reverse side of the page.
Melville Bay
is off the west coast of Greenland - the Devil's Thumb is a mountain in north-western Greenland - see below
Good condition - vertical fold as issued and small paper loss to borders not affecting the image - see scan. Double-page size 16 x 22 inches
