    308 trial color proof Benjamin Harrison 308tc. This is the
    only known
    trial color proof of the 13c Benjamin Harrison stamp of 1902. In an effort to avoid confusion with the 8c Martha Washington stamp, the BEP experimented with this bluish/slate color before issuing it in purple/black. Only the 13c and 10c special delivery stamp of the 1902 issue are known on trial color proofs. In my personal collection since 2006. Ask about my other 308 material, whole collection is for sale.
