JAMES WALLS has been portraying horses of all breeds for the better part of 50 years. Over these years, he has produced portraits of many great Saddlebreds. Mr. Walls has also done posters for major horse shows, including the Lexington Junior League Show and the prestigious Gladstone Driving Event. He also conducted a very popular course in equine art for many years, and has lectured on the subject of animal portrayal at prominent art colleges. In 1986, Mr. Walls completed portraits of the 17 "Foundation Sires" of the American Saddlebred, all of which are on permanent display at the American Saddle Horse Museum.
This is an edition of 300 signed and numbered prints. The picture has been printed on high-quality acid-free 8-1/2" by 11" paper.
