    Description

Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Souvenir Card B68, issued for Compex 84.
The card contains a block of four of the design for Scott 728, the 1c Fort Dearborn stamp of 1933 (Century of Progress issue), printed via intaglio like the original stamp.
Examples of the Compex 84 souvenir card have been identified with two distinct shades of green ink used for the intaglio pass.  The second image shows the two varieties, a lighter green on the left and a significantly darker or deeper shade on the right.  This sale is for a card with the lighter green ink.
The card has been cancelled at the BEP Visitors Center in Washington, DC on its First Day of Sale.
The illustration may be a stock image.
Terms: Satisfaction guaranteed. Discount on shipping for multiple purchases. Please ask before bidding if you have any questions.
