    The bronze cherub-like youth has discovered a nest full of eggs and their mother. In his right hand, he carries the nest while he holds the mother up from a closer inspection. A fabric banner crawls around his small frame as he steps forward looking for a safe-place to watch the family grow. He was captured using the archaic method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for conservation. The sculpture is mounted upon a black marble base with the artist
