    Description

    U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Washington, D.C. Souvenir Card. B6. Combined Philatelic Exhibition of Chicagoland - COMPEX 1970, May 29, 1970, Chicago, Illinois. Features reproduction of Scott #C18 Zeppelin airmail stamp.  "The original postage stamp was unusual in that it was issued by the United States for use on mail originating in the United States to be carried on the Zeppelin's flight from Germany to Chicago's Century of Progress Expositiion." This card was autographed by James A. Conlon, director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.  Card is mint and measures 10 1/2" x 8 1/2".  CONDITION: Card is lightly and uniformly toned.
