Information from the plaque on the bottom:
"This statue is a replica of the widely known bronze statue of the "Bull and Bear" which was created by Isadore Bonheur and exhibited at the Exposition Universelle in St. Louis in 1900. The original statue was purchased by the Stock Exchange Luncheon Club from one of its members on September 17, 1924. It has become the symbol of the New York Stock Exchange and the market. It was set upon its marble base and placed in the main entrance hall of the Club Rooms at 11 Wall Street. It has remained in this location up to the present day. The New York Stock Exchange"
